August Meeting: Recap
August's meeting took us into the world of After Effects. Our guest speaker, Patrick Simkins, Digital Designer for the Martin Agency and adjunct professor for VCU, walked us through some of the crowd-pleasing elements of the software and its interaction with Photoshop. I think it's pretty safe to say that we're all ready to add obnoxious shiny, flashy animations to our websites.

Monday, September 8th - 6-8pm
RAUG's taking a litttle field trip out to the West End for our September meeting. Graphics Gallery will be hosting us for an open house, complete with an interactive tour of the facility. CEO Steve Samuels and Peter Barton with Account Services will provide samples, answer questions, and discuss options for approaching custom projects. The tour will feature the Artistri Fabric printer, Lambda Photographic style printer, large format (pre-production) department, Vutek Flatbed printer, digital routing machines, finishing department, lamination, mounting and cutting. Basically, providing us insight into the world of large format printing and finishing in a state-of-the-art facility.
